Account Data and Its Uses
No email address is required to create an account; a username and password are sufficient. The account system processes usernames, information needed to verify passwords, subscription status and data usage for authentication, service delivery and usage calculations. Passwords are sensitive credentials and should not be included in support tickets or shared with customer support in any other way.
An email address is not required for account creation. If a user chooses to provide one in a support inquiry or privacy request, it is used only to communicate about that matter. Support tickets also retain the question, attachments and handling records submitted by the user. Before submitting screenshots, conceal passwords, subscription credentials and personal information unrelated to the issue.
No-Logs Approach and Connection Information
VPNHY does not record which websites users access through its subscription services, or store browsing history, destination URLs, DNS query history or communications. It does not create connection logs that can be used to trace an individual's browsing activity.
While a connection is active, the service must process temporary connection state in memory to forward traffic. This state is not persistently stored as historical connection logs and is released when the connection ends or operational state is cleared. Account-level cumulative data usage for plan calculations is handled separately from connection logs and does not include details of destinations or content.
Login, security and access analytics for the marketing site and user panel are operational website data. They are distinct from browsing activity on subscription routes, and their use is limited by this policy.
Site Analytics and Browser Storage
The site processes analytics such as page visits, referral sources, device or browser type and entry-point clicks to understand site usage, troubleshoot errors and improve user flows. Site operations and security checks may involve request times and network addresses. This information is not used to infer browsing content within the subscription services.
Cookies and local storage are used to maintain login sessions and save language choices and necessary interface preferences. The user panel stores authentication status locally so that subsequent requests can identify the account. Analytics features may use browser identifiers to associate visits from the same browser. Passwords and subscription credentials should not be sent to analytics systems.
Users can restrict cookies, clear site data or log out through their browser settings. Clearing local storage may end a session and reset preferences, but does not delete server-side account or order records. Users are advised to log out after using a shared device.
Order Records and Third-Party Payments
Order records include the selected plan, amount, payment status, transaction identifier and refund handling details. They are used to provide subscriptions, reconcile transactions and resolve disputes. Supported payment methods are Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Refer to the user panel for the payment options currently available.
Payment authorization or transfers are handled by the relevant third-party provider, and information collected is subject to that provider's privacy rules. VPNHY receives the transaction result needed to complete an order and does not ask users to share payment account passwords, private keys or recovery phrases with customer support. To verify an order, submit only the information necessary to locate the transaction.
Data Retention and Deletion Requests
Account data is retained while services are provided. Order and refund records are retained as needed to fulfill transactions, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal requirements. Support tickets and site operational records are kept only while needed to resolve issues, investigate security matters and conduct necessary reviews; once those purposes are complete, they are deleted or de-identified. This policy does not promise a fixed retention period that has not been confirmed.
After logging in, users can request access to, correction of or deletion of account-related data through a user panel support ticket. Requests should specify the account and the data involved, and must not include passwords. Account control may need to be verified before a request is processed. If information is linked to an open order, a dispute or a legal retention obligation, we will explain why it cannot yet be deleted and the scope of that restriction.
Deleting an account may affect subscription use and future access to records. Account deletion and refund requests are handled separately. See the Terms of Service for refund rules.
Information Protection and Policy Updates
VPNHY limits access to data to what is needed to perform relevant duties and protects service connections with bank-grade encryption. Information is processed or shared with relevant parties only to the extent necessary to provide services, handle payments, resolve support tickets or meet applicable legal obligations.
When this policy changes, the revised text will be published on this page and the month at the top will be updated. Significant changes to processing purposes, data scope or user rights will be announced on the website or in the user panel. Where separate consent is required, users will be given an appropriate choice before the change takes effect. Questions about this policy and privacy requests can be submitted through a user panel support ticket.
